That is the "stuffed sno-balls" sold at Sals on Metairie Road or Robears on Jefferson Highway in Harahan (my hometown!) My favorite is chocolate. It's a chocolate sno-ball layered with soft serve ice cream. Top that with sweetened condensed milk and more ice cream.....YUM! The best dessert ever! n Let me know when you get them! (Well we all have!) She loved hearing our stories about growing up in Louisiana & how we cooled off during the long, hot summers there with spearmint and bubblegum snowballs. We were all delightfully surprised last summer to discover Orleagians when we brought our oldest to Agnes Scott College in Decatur. Now we plan to enjoy many spearmint snowballs this season as we visit our daughter. Happily, we plan to be in the area often! Our youngest has been anxiously awaiting your opening.
